THE WARSAW STUDIO

Our home office is located in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. Here we employ over 300 people, including a full production team of passionate people creating top-quality games; this team consists of everything from “Quest” and “Story” departments (our quest designers and the writers who craft our plots and dialogues) to various teams of highly-talented artists and programmers. Also hard at work in Warsaw are the support departments—such as Finance, Marketing, HR and Administration—that keep our company’s gears in motion.

The capital of Poland has a lot to offer in every imaginable department – from theatres, museums and a buzzing nightlife, to an array of facilities that make an expat’s life comfortable, safe and convenient. If you’re moving in with children, Warsaw offers the best in public and private education, kindergardens and after hour activities. If you’re on your own, you’ll definitely appreciate the rich layer of clubs, pubs and places you just want to witness and breathe in, as they are one of a kind.

Founded in 2013, the Krakow studio functions as an integral part of CD PROJEKT RED and works closely with the Warsaw team on its core projects, including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077.  Currently the Krakow studio counts 30 employees, but this number is set to grow considerably as it prepares to work independently on ambitious projects of its own.

Krakow is the second-largest city in Poland and home to outstanding works of art and architecture and a vibrant cultural scene which earned it the title of European Capital of Culture in 2000. The many theaters, cinemas and museums found in Krakow delight both its residents and the 7 million tourists who visit this lovely and lively city every year.

Those bringing a family with them to Krakow will surely appreciate the many public and private schools and preschools they can choose from. Krakow is also home to Poland’s oldest institution of higher learning, Jagiellonian University, which draws thousands of talented young people into the city.
