THE WARSAW STUDIO

Our home office is located in Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. Here we employ over 550 people, including a full production team of passionate people creating top-quality games; this team consists of everything from Quest and Story departments (our quest designers and the writers who craft our plots and dialogues) to various teams of highly-talented artists and programmers. Also hard at work in Warsaw are the support departments, such as Finance, Marketing, HR and Administration, that keep our company’s gears in motion.

The capital of Poland has a lot to offer in every imaginable department – from theatres, museums and a buzzing nightlife, to an array of facilities that make an expat’s life comfortable, safe and convenient. If you’re moving in with children, Warsaw offers the best in public and private education, kindergardens and after hour activities. If you’re on your own, you’ll definitely appreciate the rich layer of clubs, pubs and places you just want to witness and breathe in, as they are one of a kind.

Founded in 2013, the Cracow studio functions as an integral part of CD PROJEKT RED and works closely with the Warsaw team on its core projects, including Cyberpunk 2077. Currently, the Cracow branch employs approximately 70 people, but that number is set to grow as the studio prepares to work independently on ambitious projects of its own.

Cracow is located in the heart of Europe, where tradition meets modernity, where cultural heritage coexists with technological advancement. What’s more, a diverse array of entertainment and events will keep you engaged when working hours are over.

Cracow is the second largest city in Poland and home to unique architecture, works of art, and culture, which have earned it the title of European Capital of Culture in 2000. The many theatres, cinemas, and museums found in Cracow delight both its residents and the 7 million tourists, who visit this lovely and lively city every year.

Those bringing a family with them to Cracow will surely appreciate the many public and private schools and preschools. Cracow is also home to Poland’s oldest institution of higher learning, Jagiellonian University, which draws in thousands of talented young people.

The Wrocław studio became CD PROJEKT RED’s third branch in 2018. Currently, CD PROJEKT RED WROCŁAW employs 18 dedicated developers, but this number is set to grow substantially. As CD PROJEKT RED’s new, third strong pillar, the Wrocław studio works closely with the Cracow and Warsaw teams.

Wrocław is one of the largest and most technologically advanced cities in Poland. It regularly ranks globally in the top 100 “best cities to live in.” With its historic tenement homes and churches, Wrocław combines modernity with tradition like no other. Also, for those gastronomically inclined, Wrocław is also well known for its food scene.

Residents of Wrocław value the city’s atmosphere and its many cafes, bars, and clubs. Film enthusiasts have reason to get excited as the city plays host to one of Poland’s largest film festivals. In addition to many such cultural events, Wrocław is also a delight for patrons of the fine arts due to its wealth of art galleries and museums.

Those bringing families with them to Wrocław will surely appreciate the many public and private schools and preschools available. The city is likewise home to one of the best universities in Poland. For a fun family outing, we also highly recommend the fantastic Wrocław Zoo and Africarium, which have drawn in thousands of visitors over the years.
