Gamespot has just released a video showcasing differences between graphics of Xbox 360 and PC versions of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition.

We have just released a new short animation, which summarizes events that preceded The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

We have just updated our Videos section with two trailers that were being shown during Gamescom last week. First one promotes the Xbox 360 adaptation of The Witcher 2 and was prepared by Tomasz Bagi?ski and Platige Image Studio. Second one is sort of a short Developers Diary/Trailer where you can hear the developers talking about some of the new features available in the new and improved 2.0 version of The Witcher 2, like The Dark Mode and The Arena. CD Projekt RED has released a summary of their experience at this years’ Gamescom, which took place in Cologne, Germany.

“Our fans, as always, showed up in very large numbers and this made us extremely happy.” Said Marcin Iwi?ski, co-founder and member of the board, CD Projekt RED S.A. “Our theater in the entertainment area was visited by almost 9000 people! We would like to add, that even though everyone had to spend some time in line due to the limited number of seats, the viewing room was full each time around. Both versions of The Witcher 2 have gathered the attention of media representatives and fans alike. Our booth in the business area was visited by over 700 journalists and business partners. Of course, the vast majority of them were media representatives.”

The Witcher 2 for Xbox 360 has been nominated by GamingXP site as the best game of the show. Right before Gamescom started, Gametrailers had published the newest trailer for our game prepared by Platige Image. So far, it’s been watched by over 55000 people, and has scored a tremendous 9.8/10!

The Witcher 2 has been awarded with 3 trophies during the recent European Game Awards. Our game won as the best European Game Design, best European Gameworld and last, but not least, the best Special Edition. We would like to thank everyone who decided to cast their votes for Assassins of Kings. The Witcher 2 was also a runner-up in the Best European Game Category and our studio has been voted as the second best in Europe this year. We have just released a Hotfix addressing certain issues that might have been caused by the Patch 1.3. Major problems addressed by this hotfix include: shadows not being displayed correctly in 3D Vision and Steam achievements not being registered.
