Corylea, one of the most active members of our community, has recently released her new adventure for the first Witcher game. Titled “Medical Problems 2,” the adventure can be downloaded here. Reading the short summary attached to this adventure, we will find Geralt puzzled as Vesemir and Eskel get sick, and it is up to the White Wolf himself to find out what’s going on. The adventure has several different endings, depending on your choices of course.

The Witcher 2 has been nominated in two categories in this year’s Golden Joystick Awards. Assassins of Kings will battle it out for the title of the Best RPG and Ultimate Game of the Year. We are very proud to be nominated for such prestigious award and would like to thank everyone who decides to cast their votes for The Witcher 2 in advance. We realize that some of you might be feeling little under the weather since Monday’s here and we all have to go back to work/school after the weekend. Cheer up everyone! We’ve prepared some really epic music to get you into the right mood for the week to come. You may know this tune from The Witcher 2 Xbox 360 trailer that we aired for the first time during Gamescom last month. Judging by the number of requests we’ve been receiving about this track, it is also a very popular one. This melody was composed by Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz solely for the purpose of this trailer. As usual, you can grab the file either in .mp3 or .wav format.

Ever wanted to play The Witcher 2 in your native language? Our friends from the Turkish website Oyunceviri proved that all you need is a group of fans with skills and the desire to accomplish a project from start to finish. Oyunceviri.com is a website dedicated to computer game translations. As we were told, “Oyun” means “Game” and “Ceviri” means “Translation in Turkish. This prominent group of passionate people have accomplished quite a bit so far, delivering translations of many AAA games. Their efforts were acknowledged by our Localization Team who decided to cooperate with them in order to bring the best Turkish subbed translation of The Witcher 2 possible. If you want to see The Witcher 2 with subtitles in your language or have started working on a project like this, please do not hesitate to contact us. The people have spoken! Yesterday we’ve decided to run a quick poll at our Facebook page and let the fans pick which music from the recent Witcher 2 trailers would become available for download today. There were three trailers to choose from; Arena Mode, Dark Mode and Gamescom Xbox 360 trailer. The poll was public, so by now all of you probably know what we are going to post today – music from the Dark Mode trailer. Said track was composed by Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz. You can download the tune in either .mp3 or .wav file. Enjoy! Oh, almost forgot – everyone who had different favorites in that poll… Not all hope is lost.;)

Let’s go back in time for a second and backtrack all the way to May, when we released a trailer that immediately became fans favorite not only because of amazing visuals, but also due to the fact that music used in the video was simply brilliant. Remember when you kept asking us about the tune from that particular trailer? Well, ask no more as we present to you, Disdain & Fear. This track was remixed by Studio BX and contains excerpts from the song “Vargtimmen” by the Swedish folk group Hedningarna. You can download it in .mp3 or .wav file for your convenience.
