Today’s blog post is a little bit different from the previous ones. In our newest entry we would like to tell you about what we – CD Projekt RED team members – do in our free time.

We are still accepting applications from modders who would like to participate in the closed beta of our upcoming adventure editor for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on PC – the REDkit.

We’ve just dropped the global price for the PC and console versions of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition (PC 29,99* USD/Euro, Xbox 360 39,99* USD/Euro, *Suggested Retail Price) and today we have some really big news to share with you! CD Projekt RED has launched a competition for fans of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings who have bought their copy of the game on Steam. If you don’t own the game yet, the easiest way to enter is just to pick it up from Valve’s digital distribution platform between the 5th and the 30th of September. If you already own our game, don’t worry! You can also enter the contest! Two lucky winners will have a chance to be immortalized by having their faces inserted in one of our future projects.

Back when we had originally announced Geralt’s new haircut, it stirred a lot of controversy among our community.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360 is now available in Japan for 7770 JPY. Japanese players can play the game with a cinematic localization on their home entertainment system from Microsoft. The title is excepted to be one of the largest Western hits on this market.
